Sara L. Musgrove, Ph.D., M.MFT

Adjunct Faculty

Sara Musgrove joined The Leaders Lyceum team in 2011. As Adjunct Faculty, her role involves facilitating, coaching, curriculum development, client relationship management, and research. She has taught and coached teams in corporate, government, and non-profit organizations. She is also the co-host of the Growing as Grown-Ups podcast.

Sara came to The Leaders Lyceum from The Home Depot where she was a part of the Organizational Effectiveness team. While there, she was involved in the creation and implementation of a variety of company-wide talent management systems including 360 degree feedback surveys, competency modeling, selection systems, and employee engagement surveys.

Sara specializes in helping people unleash their potential by becoming increasingly more grounded in who they are and who they want to be. Leveraging decades of research and proven practices of adult development, Sara has helped thousands of leaders identify their personalized growth opportunities and create development plans that result in accelerated growth and increased effectiveness. Sara received her Master’s and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology at the University of Georgia. Sara also has a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, which uniquely equips her whole-person approach to growing leaders.

It is her passion to make work a satisfying and enriching part of people’s lives as they learn how to become more fully themselves.
